Q: What sets you apart from other dumpster services?
A: There are many reasons how we are the best dumpster bin rental service provider around, here are some of the things that set us apart that you can expect with us!
Q: What areas do you provide dumpster rental service to?
A: We gladly provide service in the following areas:
If you don’t see your area above, please call (902) 422-4630 and we’ll see what we can do.
Q: If I'm comparing multiple dumpster rental companies, what questions should I be asking?
A: That's easy. Check out this blog all about asking the right questions for your upcoming rental.
Q: I have a very small single driveway, will the bin fit?
A: Absolutely! The bin has a footprint the size of a minivan, making it uniquely qualified for small driveways and tight spaces. Along with the compact size of our delivery truck and its signature roll off system, we can put our bins in some tight spaces.
Q: How much notice do I need to give when ordering my bin?
A: We can make almost any request happen. We can have a bin delivered and ready for use within 24 hours (but we've been there as quickly as 30 minutes). It is our goal to deliver exceptional service and that includes being reliable with our timeline. We won't sell you with a quick bin delivery time and then not show up. We will let you know in spring and the thick of summer (our busiest seasons) a realistic timeline, and then show up when we said we would.
Q: What’s the best bin to rent for my spring cleaning or garage clean out project?
A: Typically, for a spring clean or garage clean out project, our 14 or 20 yard bins work best; the number of kids you have is usually the determining factor on which of those two sizes you’ll need!
Q: Can I rent a dumpster when there's snow on the ground?
A: Definitely. Dumpster bin availability is very good in the snowiest, blowiest season. We do ask that you grab a shovel and clear a space for the bin to ensure traction on wet, slippery driveways. Spreading a little deicer is a great idea, too. More about dumpster delivery in winter weather.
Q: What bin should I rent for a kitchen/basement renovation?
A: Our 14 yard bin is the most rented bin for kitchen renovations throughout Halifax. Of course, if you have a larger kitchen with a large demolition involved, you’re better off renting the 20 yard bin.
Q: What bin size do I need?
A: When you speak to our Dumpster Consultants, describing the scope of your waste disposal project, they will suggest what size will work best for the material you are disposing of and we’ll customize a bin solution for your home improvement project. Choose the right bin size for your next project.
Q: Do I need to be present when my bin is delivered?
A: We always welcome the opportunity to meet our great customers throughout the Halifax area and show them the walk-in double doors and driveway protection system. You do not however need to be present for the delivery of the bin if you’ve advised us during ordering where we should place your bin. Here's how to prepare your home for a dumpster rental.
Q: How long can I keep the bin?
A: The all-inclusive price includes one week rental. After 7 days, the additional fee is only $25/day. So take the weekend, the whole week or longer. We want you to feel relaxed and at ease while decluttering and reorganizing, with no urgent deadlines you won't feel rushed and anxious about not having enough time.
Q: How high can I fill the bin?
A: Our bins are marked with a level load line across the top. In order for us to properly and safely tarp our bins, as mandated by the provincial government, we need to have the debris not exceeded that level load line.
Q: How do I pay for the bin rental?
A: Cash or credit card payments are accepted. If paying cash, the amount will be quoted upon booking and full payment is due at the time the bin is delivered. If paying by credit card, the card is charged during the booking process.
Q: Do I pay additional dump or pick up fees?
A: Our price includes: delivery, pick up and 7 days of rental. In addition to the base rate, landfill / recycling fees are charged at cost.
You know upfront exactly what your costs will be because no one likes to pay hidden fees and surcharges. You deserve a simple, straightforward price, and that is what you get with Bin There Dump That. We advise that you call us at (902) 422-4630 for a reasonable estimate of your bin rental.
Q: Do you work with Contractors?
A: Absolutely!! Whether you’re a general contractor, fire/water disaster recovery contractor or roofing contractor, we’ve formed significant relationships throughout the Halifax area with the best and most professional contractors Halifax has to offer.
Q: Do you protect the driveway?
A: Always! Bin There Dump That has a residential-friendly bin rental process that includes a driveway protection system that assures your property is never scratched or damaged from one of our bins as our bins never actually touch the ground. We take the extra time to protect your driveway because we appreciate your business and respect your property.
Q: Are there items that you do not take?
A: The only items that we do not accept in our bins are hazardous wastes (paint, batteries, gasoline, oils, pesticides, herbicides), propane tanks, fire extinguishers, CFL and fluorescent bulbs, products containing mercury, large appliances, and electronics.
Q: Can I throw all my debris into a single bin? Do you recycle?
A: Construction, Demolition and Renovation debris is recycled and cannot be mixed with regular household garbage. The Otter Lake Waste Management facility does not accept recyclable materials. Examples of recyclable materials include wood, drywall, asphalt shingles and roofing, plastics, aggregates (concrete, bricks, stone), metals, vinyl siding, windows, plastic, glass, carpet and cardboard.
This means they take extra care and caution to recycle as many materials as possible and is why we cannot take mixed loads of recyclable and non-recyclable materials. If you have a mixed material loads, please call us at (902) 422-4630 and we would be happy to discuss the best, most cost effective way to remove it from your property.
Q: After you leave, will you leave a mess for me to clean up like I have seen with some other companies?
A: We take pride in our work and providing exceptional customer service. This includes sweeping up after we leave, ensuring your property is as good, if not better than when we arrived.
